The Cheyenne is a firm-fleshed potato. With its red skin and yellow flesh, it resembles the Cherie potato enormously. Nevertheless, these two varieties are different. The differences in tone at the level of colors but also the shape between its two varieties are the most notable points.
Like the Cherie, the Cheyenne has a good hold when cooked and good culinary qualities.
