Characteristics of the tubers
Skin: pale red/ intense burgundy red, very aesthetic.
Flesh: pale yellow, soft and tender.
Size: very large uniform tubers, with regular texture.
Agronomy & Resistances
Maturity: rather late, with a long cycle compensated by a high yield.
Yield: very high, often higher than the desired variety.
Resistance to disease:
Mildew (foliage): very high resistance
Late blight (tuber): quite high
PVY: excellent; Ro1-4: total resistance
Good resistance to drought and ash spots.
Culinary uses & Conservation
Exceptional for household fries, but also excellent in puree, oven or gratin.
Melting flesh (culinary group B-C) with very slight blackening after cooking.
High conservation: ideal for storing several months after harvest.
