The Carolus potato is a semi-late variety, with oblong tubers, yellow skin with red eyes, yellow flesh. Purple flower. Foliage with good final development and good hold. Barely to not susceptible to blight (foliage and tuber), susceptible to common scab and powdery scab. Rather floury cooking type, good frying quality and good crisping quality.
