1 - How many plants are there in my potato bag ?

The amount of plant in your bag varies depending on two factors:

  • Calibre
  • The weight of the bag

Below is an average of the number of plants in each bag :

Size (mm) 28 - 35 35 - 45 45 - 50
Number of plants per kilo 40 20 13

All that remains is to multiply the total weight of your bag by the corresponding number above to get the number of plants.

2 - What is a caliber?

The size of the potato is the width of the plant. Here's how it's measured : Mesure calibre pommes de terre

Another method to check the size of your potato is to use a grader: Calibreur pommes de terre

3 - How can I be sure of the quality of my plant?

All potato, garlic and shallot plants that we market are certified.

You will find on all our products a label or a blue pellet with all the information of the plant written inside. Certified plants meet sanitary requirements (diseases, bacteria, fungi)

4 - Are the plants I buy pre-germinated?

No, we only sell unsprouted plants. Once your order is received, you will just have to put them in pre-germinated before putting them in cultivation.

5 - I'm looking for shot but I can't find any?

Shot is not a variety but a caliber. This is the smallest size of potato you can find. However, we do not offer shot caliber plants for sale.

6 - I want to pick up my plants purchased on the Paris address

Dear Ile-de-France, unfortunately this is only an office. All our plants are stored in our warehouses in the region to ensure the delivery of your orders.

7 - My order arrived damaged, what should I do?

If your order arrives damaged the first thing to do is :

  • Express reservations when you sign the delivery note in the relay world point or when the delivery person delivers the order
  • In a second step read the dispute sheet to download below (file download link)
  • As a last step contact us with all the grouped parts so that we can process your request

8 - My order takes longer than expected, what happens?

It may happen that at certain times your order takes longer to be shipped because :

  • We have just run out of stock on one of the products waiting for a quick supply
  • The carrier is having trouble reaching you to make a delivery appointment
  • The package is blocked on a logistics platform and waiting for transport to be sent to you

9 - Can delivery be delayed?

Of course! We are aware that not everyone plants under the same conditions. All you have to do is send us an email with all the information of your order and the date on which you wish to be delivered.

10 - I am not happy and I want to return the order to you

Unfortunately we do not accept returns of goods because seed potatoes and garlic, onion and shallot seed are perishable goods.

If a dispute relating to quality is present in your opinion, download here (link) our dispute sheet.

11 - Some plants are rotten in my order

It is possible that in some bags you can find some rotten plants.
The plants we market are living beings, react to temperature, shocks etc.
We cannot guarantee 100% viable plants in our bags however we take into account your considerations when too many plants are damaged when your order arrives.

12 - What to do with bags and labels?

For the sake of prevention and traceability, we invite you to keep the bags and labels until your potatoes or bulbs are harvested.

If you do not feel like it, we invite you to take a picture of the plant passport (blue label present on the 25KG bags) and the label on the other types of bags. This data is essential for the traceability of our products in the context of a dispute.
